Most of Lucian Freud's paintings took between 10 and 16 months to paint with frequent sittings by the subjects. If you imagine just one sitting a week for 16 months, this lady got paid over $2,500 USD just to lay on a couch. It doesn't sound like that should really "gag you off" all that much.

the concept is that, the subject is optional, which means, its not the obese woman who made up the price of the painting, the the art underlying the obese woman painting which made up the price of the art.
